The Pacific Madrone is a broadleaf evergreen tree native to the coastal regions of the west coast of North American known for its distinctive red peeling bark.

Sow in a well draining mix of sand, peat and gravel. keep soil moist and seedlings in partial shade.

Plant outside in autumn after reaching five inches tall. Saplings require full sun and minimal water.
